The Central Bank Management System (CBMS) is a fully integrated solution for central banks. The system consists of three core modules all inter-connected with one another:
The Treasury component is utilised for creating the auction process, i.e. creating the offer in addition to a configurable general ledger.
The Auctioning Front End is used by dealers in the market to enter their bids on the auction in real-time. Holdings reports show the user where their dematerialised scrip is real time. The solution is entirely swift enabled which allows participants to place bids via swift messages in either ISO 15022 or 20022 formats.
Additionally, the Auctioning front end allows participants to perform transfers between participants.
The Custody component is linked to the above modules and is responsible for two core functions namely, settlement and collateral reserves to the Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS).
